DOE Announces $70 Million Funding Opportunity For REMADE Program

On June 23, 2016, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requested proposals for “Reducing EMbodied energy And Decreasing Emissions (REMADE) in Materials Manufacturing.” This funding opportunity is for the development of technologies that reduce life-cycle energy consumption and carbon emissions associated with the production and processing of industrial-scale materials.
