Susan M. Kirsch Joins Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. and The Acta Group as Government Affairs Advisor

Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C^®) and The Acta Group (Acta^®) are pleased to announce that Susan M. Kirsch has joined our teams as Government Affairs Advisor. Ms. Kirsch brings substantial regulatory and technical policy expertise at the local, state, and federal levels, with experience at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental and Natural Resource Division, and most recently the Association of Clean Water Administrators, where she was Senior Environmental Program Manager.

Ms. Kirsch will offer clients in the agriculture and commodity grower communities a broad perspective on agricultural and environmental policy issues, with particular focus on Clean Water Act issues, and assist clients in achieving competitive advantage by developing environmental and water quality compliance approaches that are scientifically defensible and commercially implementable.

Ms. Kirsch holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN), and a J.D. and environmental law certificate from Pace University (NY). She is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations. As a law student, Ms. Kirsch was active in the environmental litigation clinic where her case work included Catskill Mountains Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Inc. v. EPA, which litigated the 2008 EPA Water Transfers Rule.
