The Chemical Society of Washington is holding a dinner meeting on April 27, 2017. B&C Senior Chemist Richard Engler, Ph.D. is the featured speaker. Dr. Engler will discuss the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) before and after reform and some of the challenges EPA and industry face in implementing and complying with the new law. Lynn L. Bergeson will present on the current status of TSCA to the chemicals management committee on April 21.
The ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources’ 46th Spring Conference program was built to explore topics and issues facing the environmental lawyer today. Panel discussions covered a broad range of topics including: energy and environment priorities of the new administration and the 115th congress, what all environmental, energy, and resources lawyers need to know about TSCA reform, and FERC pipeline certificate proceedings and new disputes over “public convenience and necessity.” Lynn L. Bergeson presented: "What All Environmental, Energy, and Resources Lawyers Need to Know about TSCA Reform and Why" on March 30, 2017. B&C was a proud sponsor.
The Society for Chemical Hazard Communication Spring 2017 meeting featured a presentation by Sheryl Lindros Dolan: "Protecting Trade Secrets Around the World: Comparing CBI Requirements of the TSCA Reform Act to ASHA HCS 2012, Appendix E".
